A former office manager for a timber merchant has won her sexual discrimination case at an employment tribunal.
According to the Daily Mail, the 37-year-old was on maternity leave when she discovered she was pregnant again. She notified her employer of this fact, and was informed shortly afterwards that her position was to be made redundant.
The Daily Mail reports that the tribunal found that her redundancy was a direct result of the notification of her pregnancy, and that she had been unlawfully discriminated against on the grounds of her sex.
